In latest news from Uttarakhand, Jogindar Singh Sandhu was unanimously elected the president of the Nanakmatta Sahib Management Committee by the committee members after the resignation of the former president Hanbans Singh Chugh was accepted. Notably, Chugh is a former senior IAS officer and one of the suspects of the murder of the gurudwara’s Kar Seva chief Baba Tarsem Singh.
Notably, 12 out of 27 members were present at the meeting.
