The Tourism, Culture, Panchayati Raj and Irrigation minister Satpal Maharaj was hospitalised at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh on Monday.
He is said to be suffering from a stomach ailment. The doctors treating him have advised a surgery on him.
The chief public relations officer of AIIMS, Rishikesh Sandeep Kumar Singh told The Pioneer that Maharaj was admitted in the institute on Monday and he will undergo a surgery soon.
