To combat the trend of most of the students from middle and lower class families dropping out after high school stage and shunning government services due to lack of guidance and resources, Satyam Help Foundation (SHF) is all set to open a school in Haridwar. Informing this on Monday, a senior functionary of SHF Dhirendra Chauhan said that they were aiming at churning out government officers from the educationally and economically unprivileged sections of the society. Another functionary of the organisation Arun Kashyap said that the academic session in the school is likely to start from July 1 and children from class 8 onwards would be registered. Selected students would be given free coaching in Satyam Pathshala to prepare them for appearing in competitive examinations for government services, Kashyap said and added that there would also be a free library for them.
