While chairing a meeting of the high powered committee (HPC) related to sustainable, inclusive and climate-friendly development and tourism development on ADB- assisted Tehri Lake Project, the chief secretary Radha Raturi approved the proposals for construction of five new MLD STP along with sewer network with DPR cost of Rs 54.05 crore and solid waste management and waste management centre worth Rs 37.11 crore, Mahadev temple with DPR cost of Rs 1.46 crore and entry gates with DPR cost of Rs 2.33 crore in New Tehri. She also approved the proposal to appoint BRIDCUL as the nodal agency for the Madan Negi ropeway sub-project.

Further, she approved child care leave for women employees engaged in the project along with TA/DA allowances.
