Says roadmap for Cong in Uttarakhand was discussed in meeting with state in charge Yadav
The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Pritam Singh has said that growing schism between the bureaucracy and government in Uttarakhand is not in the interest of the state. Responding to the questions of the media persons at the state headquarter of the Congress party here on Saturday on the issue of refusal of IAS officers to work in the women empowerment and child development department headed by State minister Rekha Arya, the PCC chief said that the issue is very serious. He said that not one or two but four IAS officers have so far refused to work with the minister. Singh said that the issue is very serious and the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat should do an introspection over it. On Uttarakhand government removing all restrictions on movement of tourists in the state, the PCC chief said that it is unfortunate that the state government is blindly following the guidelines of the central government on everything. “The state government should make necessary changes in the guidelines as per its requirements. Now the government has allowed everyone including the Covid-19 positive patients to travel to the Char Dhams which is very dangerous. The government should take necessary preventive measures,’’ he said.
On his recent visit to New Delhi and his meeting with the newly appointed state in charge of the party Devendra Yadav, PCC chief said that the meeting was a courtesy call. He said that in the meeting discussion on ways to carry the forward in the state was held. Singh said that it was decided that a roadmap with the involvement of all the leaders would be prepared for the party in the state.
