The Education department will undertake an extensive plantation drive in the State on the occasion of Harela this year. The campaign will start on July 16 and end on July 23. The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat gave instructions regarding the drive in a meeting with the officers of school and higher education departments at his residence here on Monday.
The minister said that the Harela is the festival of beauty of nature and it should be celebrated for 15 days in the schools and colleges. Senior officers of both the departments were present in the meeting.
