The Lakshya Society in collaboration with Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC) organised a science exhibition and dialogue programme to mark the 38th National Science Day at Shivalik College here on Wednesday. About 500 persons, including representatives from Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India, THDC, UJVNL, UREDA, SDRF, Doon Defense Academy and National Livelihood Mission aside from members of various self-help groups, attended the programme. Apart from this, over 100 students participated.
The organisers said that the programme was meant to highlight the significance of traditional and indigenous technologies in accelerating the pace of India’s development.
