Shri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University vice chancellor NK Joshi has directed the affiliated colleges to take responsibility for the complete implementation of research work and journal publication. He said that colleges should also conduct national and international level seminars. Chairing a discussion with principals of affiliated private colleges and self-financed institutions on the recognition of institutions, academic progress and future work plans, Joshi said that along with academic activities, all the institutions should also focus on research and publication of journals by their faculty. He said that in this digital era, all the institutions should keep updating their information on social media also. Preparations should be started from now for NAAC inspection in the coming year, he added.
