SDSUV suspends admission in 17 affiliated colleges

In a stern action against some affiliated, self-financed institutions following their failure to act on the instructions, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University administration has put on hold admission and publication of examination results.  Notably, the action came after a meeting had been held at the university headquarters on June 16 with the participation of the principals, chairpersons and directors of all the self-financed institutions affiliated to the university.  The university administration had asked all such institutions which had not yet got the inspection and faculty approval done must have them done in a week. It had reminded such institutions that several meetings had been earlier held on the affiliation issues.

With the inspection and faculty approval not being done within the one week timeframe, actions have been taken against 17 such   institutions.
The university administration further said that their admission portals have been shut down and the declaration of exam results has been put on hold till further orders, adding that it
would never compromise on academic quality, administrative transparency and rule-based functioning.
