Sea world carnival to display 3 lakh fishes of 200+ varieties

In latest news from Doon, a sea world carnival showcasing India’s largest underwater fish tunnel with a collection of over three lakh fishes representing 200+ varieties is commencing in Dehradun from May 10 opposite Bannu School at Race Course. The carnival is being organised by Apex World International.
A senior functionary of the Apex World International, Alankeshwar Bhaskar likened it to the aquarium tunnels found in Dubai and Singapore. The carnival will feature a diverse array of exotic fishes, including Lionhead, Parrot Fish, Elephant Nose Fish, Angel Fish, Albino Fish and Arowana Fish. He further said, “A special hangar has been set up for these aquariums wherein the fish will be kept. A fully trained team of people is designated for their feeding and maintenance.”
The inaugural entry fee for the carnival is Rs 30 while the entry fee to the fish tunnel is Rs 100. The carnival which will continue till June 25 will be a one of its kind experience for the residents of Dehradun, the organisers said, adding that in addition to the fish tunnel, the carnival would feature shopping stalls showcasing handmade and handicraft items as well as wooden furniture. Aside from various swings and rides installed for children and adults, there will be a dedicated food court.
