Second dairy growth centre all set to start at Tyuni in Dehradun
Following the successful operation of the Dairy Growth Centre in Lakhamandal, the Dehradun district administration will start the second centre in Atal village of Tyuni in March. According to the Assistant Director of the dairy development department, Anurag Mishra, the construction work of the growth centre in the village was recently completed and the administration is currently installing the machinery in the centre.
The administration is also assisting the local farmers to get loans under the government schemes to buy Badri cows in order to start their business of selling the milk in the centre, informed Mishra. He said that the administration established the centre after a thorough survey and all the procedure will be completed soon to start the centre from the next month.
According to him, the district administration received a great response for the operation of the first Growth Centre in Lakhamandal considering which the administration decided to open two more such centres. While the dairy growth centre in Tyuni will start from March, the administration will also establish another growth centre at Sahiya village in Kalsi which will be established soon too, informed Mishra.
