The mystery behind the Pakistan citizen Seema Haider’s much-discussed ‘love story’ still remaining unravelled despite intense investigations being carried out into her past and into her suspected motive behind her having entered India with her four children without visa via the open Nepal border, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police once again summoned her and her Indian partner Sachin Meena and his father, Netrapal Singh and grilled them for hours in Greater Noida. Notably, Seema had illegally entered India in May to live with her partner whom she had befriended through an online game. Though suspicions still linger on her possible connections with the Pakistan Army and the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), given her family’s association with the Pakistan Army, nothing has been confirmed yet to help the investigation agencies to draw incontrovertible conclusion. Meanwhile, with things still remaining shrouded in mystery, the dilemma continues for the Indian authorities as to what should be done with her-either evicting her as being demanded by some right wing outfits which claim that she is a spy of Pakistan or allowing her to stay back in India, given the humanitarian streak involved in the case.
