For the formation of the Uttarakhand team, the Dehradun District Sports Office (DSO) will organise district selection trials for players to participate in the All India Civil Services (AICS) competitions on November 19 and 20. According to DSO officials, the selection trials for athletics, weightlifting and volleyball for both men and women will be held at Maharana Pratap Sports College on November 19 and 20, starting at 8 AM, along with cricket and football, specifically for men.
Additionally, selection trials for judo, badminton, chess and kabaddi will take place on the same dates at the Multipurpose Hall at Parade Ground. Further selection trials for table tennis, hockey and lawn tennis will be organised at the TT Hall-Parade Ground, Pavilion Ground and Shanti Academy, respectively, they added.
The officials further added that players are required to bring a copy of their Aadhaar card, a medical certificate and other relevant documents during the selection trials.
