Health expert and founder of Social Development for Communities (SDC) foundation, Anoop Nautiyal has said that the people of Uttarakhand should go on a self imposed lockdown to prevent the infection of Covid-19 from spreading further. He said 5084 new cases and 81 deaths on Saturday show the deep spread of pandemic in the state. He added that the state government should float only one helpline number instead of many nodal numbers.
“ It is better to declare 104 or 108 as Uttarakhand Covid helpline number and allocate massive resources in terms of technology, manpower, training and infrastructure,’’ he said.
