Senior Cong leader Jot Singh Bisht joins AAP
Party would get strengthened by presence of an experienced and visionary leader like Bisht- Bali

In a major jolt to the Uttarakhand Congress ahead of the crucial by-election of Champawat, senior leader and Vice President of state Congress, Jot Singh Bisht left the party to join Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday.
He took the membership of AAP in presence of deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and state in charge of Uttarakhand Dinesh Mohania. Bisht is a former MLA and a very senior leader of Congress party.
Expressing happiness, the state president of AAP, Dipak Bali said that the party would get strengthened by presence of a leader like Jot Singh Bisht and his long years of experience. He said that Bisht has got a vision for the state and by joining AAP he has expressed himself. Bali said that the family of AAP is increasing consistently in Uttarakhand and the people of the state have started understanding the policies of Arvind Kejriwal. Bali added that the Congress party is a sinking ship and there is no point in continuing to cling to it. He said that AAP believes in work and all the honest and people with vision are welcome in the party. Bali said that the Congress party does not respect and cares for true workers due to which Bisht has bid adieu to it.
He informed that Bisht and state in charge Mohania would reach Dehradun on Saturday at the party office where they would be welcomed by the party workers.
