The additional secretary, Public Works Department and Forest, Vineet Kumar held a chaupal in Bagwan village under the development block Kirti Nagar and Tunagi village under the development block Devprayag during which he talked to the villagers about the status of implementation of government schemes.
The villagers raised the problems of drinking water, electricity, irrigation, MNREGA and compensation among others along with the problems they have been facing from monkeys, pigs and stray animals, Kumar listened to them and assured that the problems would be considered at the appropriate government level.
