The representative of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Abhay Kumar Srivastava inspected during his two- day trip ending on Wednesday 100 wards under the Dehradun Municipal Corporation to take stock of the ongoing works involving Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihood Mission, self- help groups, rain basera and PM SVANidhi. The objective of the visit was to make on-ground inspection of how the Centre-sponsored welfare schemes are being executed to facilitate a better life of the beneficiaries, the government sources said.
