In latest Uttarakhand news, with rain still pummeling Haridwar, several colonies of the city have got submerged in the flood water. The residents said that the water had gushed into their houses and damaged their household goods and furniture. They sounded angry over the much-trumpeted drainage and monsoon management system having miserably failed to hold on against the relentless rain.
