In latest news from Uttarakhand, Haldwani police’s anti-human trafficking unit, under the direction of the SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena, busted a major sex racket operating from a double storey house located at a housing society in upscale Heera Nagar near Pragati Market in Haldwani. Five persons, including three women, were arrested and cases under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code have been lodged against them. Among the five arrested was the kingpin of the racket identified as Suman Rajput (50).
