In the wake of the recent natural disaster that struck Dharali, Shri Guru Ram Rai University and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital sent relief materials through SGRR Public School located in Barkot in Uttarkashi district. SGRRU’s registrar, Lokesh Gambhir said that the affected families would be provided with essential supplies including medicines, food items, blankets, clothing, and other necessities. Additionally, the university has announced that the children from the disaster-affected families would be offered free admission in selected courses at SGRR University. Furthermore, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital in Dehradun will provide free medical treatment to the victims.
The principal of SGRR Public School, Barkot, Kamla Rawat and the principal of SGRR Public School, Purola, Uttam Singh Chauhan shared that the relief and rescue efforts are being actively carried out under the instruction of the university’s chairman, Mahant Devendra Das.
