In latest news from Uttarakhand, National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadet of Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU), Akriti Rawat represented the Uttarakhand Directorate at the Republic Day parade. Happy with her achievement, the president, SGRRU, Mahant Devendra Das felicitated her by gifting her a cheque of Rs 51,000/. He said all possible efforts must be made to promote the girls by boosting their self-confidence to excel in every sphere of life. “She is now is a living example of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ programme,” he said. The faculty members and students of the university also congratulated her. Notably, Akriti is a student of Psychology at SGRRU.
During the selection procedure for Republic Day Parade, Akriti won the Gold Medal at the IUC-RDC Camp in ‘Best Yep Cadet’ as well as a Gold Medal in IUC-RDC Camp.
