Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat directed the officers of the Health department to prepare an action plan for effective implementation of the Ayushman Yojana and fast disposal of the complaints.
The minister gave the order while chairing a meeting of the department held at the auditorium of the State Health Authority on Wednesday.
In the meeting the minister reviewed the progress of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana and State Government Health Scheme. He said that Ayushman Yojana is an important scheme associated with public health and all the problems linked to it should be solved on priority.
The minister was informed in the meeting that the process of designing a new portal and master package of the Ayushman Yojana is underway. The officers said that due to huge differences in spending and the contribution of employees and pensioners, problems are occurring in smooth operation of the SGHS. The SHA has prepared a proposal for comparative study of the insurance and trust mode for operating the SGHS. It has also written a letter to the State government for gap funding of the scheme.
The meeting was attended by secretary Health R Rajesh Kumar, chairman of SHA AS Hyanki, chief executive officer of SHA Reena Joshi and others.
