The State Health Authority (SHA) of Uttarakhand has received first prize in the country from the National Health Authority (NHA) in the implementation of pre authorization process. The chief executive officer (CEO) of SHA, Reena Joshi received the award in a brainstorming session organised by NHA at Pune on Saturday. The NHA has set up a system of turnaround time (TAT) for the approval of treatment of the beneficiaries. The NHA has made a system of auto approval after a time period of six hours but to ensure immediate treatment for the beneficiaries there is a provision of approval before the stipulated time frame.
The CEO Joshi said that the SHA has received an award for timely approval for the treatment of the beneficiaries. He congratulated all the employees of the SHA for the national recognition.
