Shaheed Samman Samaroh in Lansdowne today

Sainik Kalyan minister Ganesh Joshi visited Lansdowne cantonment in Pauri district on Saturday to take stock of the preparations for the Shaheed Samman Samaroh. The programme will be organised on October 5 and will be attended by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami among others.
The minister directed the officers to ensure that all the preparations for the programme are completed on time.
He said that Lansdowne is his Karmabhoomi and he always feels proud of visiting the place. Joshi said that on November 13, 1976, he joined the Indian Army as a Rifleman in Lansdowne.
Expressing gratitude to CM Dhami for approving the proposal to organise Shaheed Samman Samorah in Lansdowne, the minister said that this shows the sensitivity the State government has towards the armed forces personnel and their family members.
The Bharatiya Janata Party district president Raj Gaurav Nautiyal, Sainik Kalyan director brigadier (retd) Amrit Lal, district Sainik Kalyan officer colonel (retd) VP Bhatt and others accompanied the minister during the visit.
