Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the suggestions and directions given by Union Home minister Amit Shah during his recent visit to Uttarakhand will be implemented in the State. He said that Shah took time out from his hectic schedule and chaired review meetings of different departments during the visit. Dhami expressed gratitude to Shah for the suggestions and said that the State government has started the necessary works for implementing his suggestions. He said that the Union Home minister gives guidance to the State government from time to time and the state government is committed to implement them. It is pertinent to mention here that Shah was in the State to attend the meeting of the central zonal council in Narendranagar in Tehri and the 49th All India Police Science Congress in Dehradun on Saturday. He took time out of his schedule and took review meetings of the cooperatives, disaster management and home departments. He also reviewed the progress of the vibrant village programme. Shah gave many suggestions and directions to the officers in these meetings. He also held a meeting with BJP office bearers of the State, shared his suggestions and issued directions to them.
