On the call given by the journalist turned politician Umesh Kumar, Indian cricket team star Mohammad Shami organised a road show in Khanpur on Monday. Organised under ‘ Khelega Khanpur, Jeetega Khanpur campaign’ the road show started from Maharana Pratap School in Dhandera and culminated in Khanpur stadium.
Large number of people, majority of them youth lined up in the road show to have a glimpse of the Indian cricketer. It is pertinent to mention here that Kumar has announced to contest from Khanpur assembly seat. The seat is considered as a strong hold of BJP leader and local MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion.
