The Sherwood College alumni of the 1974 batch celebrated their golden jubilee here on Thursday. A special prayer meet was held along with various other programmes to mark the occasion. The school principal Amandeep Sandhu said that the golden history of this institution is a matter of pride. Maintaining this level is the responsibility of the current school management, he said.
Despite various challenges, he is fulfilling his responsibilities, Sandhu added. In addition to sharing their school memories, the alumni also participated in an interaction on the past and present education. The college captain of the 1974 batch, Himmat Singh Sandhu, Rakesh Bhasin, lieutenant general (retd) Pawan Bahadur Pande of the Nepal Army along with other alumni and current students of the school were also present on the occasion.
