Shri Venkateshwara University & Harper Adams University, UK sign academic agreement

The Meerut-based Shri Venkateshwara University inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Harper Adams University, United Kingdom on Wednesday. The top officials of these institutions claimed that students and teachers of both the countries would work together for research, investigation and higher education in each other’s universities. The chancellor of Harper Adam University, Adam Cain is likely to visit Shri Venkateshwara University in November to take stock of the progress post-MoU signing.
Hailing the academic agreement, the pro-chancellor of Shri Venkateshwara University Rajeev Tyagi and the head of International Affairs, Harper Adams University, United Kingdom, Yatin Gupta said that it would usher in plethora of employment opportunities for the Indian students in UK, particularly in the fields like agriculture, animal husbandry, veterinary science, environment, tourism sector, research and investigation.
Shri Venkateshwara Group chairman Sudhir Giri said that under this academic alliance, students and senior faculty of both the countries would have opportunities of working together in joint ventures in multiple professional and technical courses, further enhancing the standards in higher education.
