Shri Venkateshwara University, Meerut hosted an orientation programme ‘Deeksharambh 2023’ for the newly admitted students for the academic year 2023-24 at the sports complex in its premises on Saturday.
The university office bearers said that the new students of PG/UG courses were administered the pledge of commitment to work and serve the nation. Addressing the newly inducted students, the chairman of the Venkateshwara Group of Institutions Sudhir Giri said that the students would enjoy employment opportunities galore under the National Education Policy, but they must upgrade themselves appropriately without losing themselves in the crowd to avail the benefits.
The principal advisor to the chairman and scientist VPS Arora said in his address that the skilled youths are now playing very important roles in the nation building process. The pro-chancellor of the university Rajeev Tyagi said that the university has been churning out trained professionals in line with the international, national and industrial requirements of the time. The newly admitted students participated in several cultural programmes organised on the occasion.
