Vice chancellors of more than two dozen central and state universities, educationalists and members of the industrial fraternity attended a two-day national seminar on the National Education Policy-2020 organised jointly by the Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut. The event was hosted by the university. The participants advocated the effective implementation of the National Education Policy-2020 and taking India to the top of the global fraternity through it.
Venkateshwara Group head Sudhir Giri said that the NEP-2020 is a historic and revolutionary development. Effective implementation of this policy will help build the India as dreamed by Swami Vivekanand, he opined. Former president of the Association of Indian Universities, DS Chauhan said that the new education policy has a unique combination of research, love for the nation and women empowerment. The nation can become a global leader on the strength of this policy, Chauhan opined.
The regional head of Amazon south Asia region, Lokesh Mehra said that with a bridge between the new education policy and the corporate world, the skilled youth of the nation will get a good platform across the nation and abroad.
