Shri Venkateshwara University remembers Netaji on Parakram Diwas

Meerut-based Shri Venkateshwara University hosted a seminar to mark the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose observed across India as   ‘Parakram Diwas’. The theme of the seminar was ‘Bose the Rashtranayak’ and ‘Rashtra Seva Shapath’.  Those addressed it spoke of the  pivotal role Netaji played inside India as well as from abroad, culminating in the Independence of the country.    An oath to serve the nation was administered to thousands of students present.  

Inaugurating the seminar, the chairman of the Venkateshwara Group of Institutes, Sudhir Giri remembered the struggle and sacrifice of the Azad Hind Fauj led by the legendary leader. He called Netaji a personification of futuristic vision, indomitable valour and iron determination to sacrifice everything on the altar of the country’s freedom. The university’s vice-chancellor Rajeev Tyagi who also spoke on the occasion said that they must derive inspiration from the leader’s ability to rise above caste, regional and communal considerations and serve the country with single-minded mission.
