SIIDCUL police have arrested 49 persons who are said to be from Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh for indulging in hooliganism. Those arrested have been fined too by police. Speaking of the matter, the senior superintendent of police Haridwar Ajay Singh said that strong actions would be taken against the accused as per the law. Police said that the trouble began with a scuffle on theft between a computer centre owner and some youth. Then the situation turned for the worse, resulting in a free-for-all. On receiving information, police went to the place and arrested 49 persons under Section 151 of CrPC.
