Sikh delegation meets CM Dhami

A delegation of representatives and heads of different Gurudwaras of Dehradun met chief minister Puskhar Singh Dhami at his Vidhan Sabha office on Saturday.
The delegation expressed its gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for safe transport of Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan to India. The delegates said that the PM has increased the pride of the Sikh community.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Dhami said that the status of India has exalted under the able leadership of PM Modi. He said that the government is ensuring the safe return of Indians from Afghanistan and the Uttarakhand government is in constant touch with the ministry of foreign affairs for the return of people of the state from Afghanistan.
The CM assured the delegation that he is with the people of Sikh community. The MLA Rajesh Shukla, chairman of Uttarakhand Sikh Vikas Parishad Baljit Soni, president of Guru Singh Sabha, Gurbaksh Singh and others were present on the occasion. The delegation presented a Kripan and Shawl to the CM.
