SIT reaches Tehri for probe into alleged UKSSSC paper leak case

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the alleged UKSSSC graduate-level recruitment examination paper leak case reached Tehri on Monday.
The SIT held a public dialogue at the Tehri collectorate campus with candidates, students and other individuals to gather information related to the examination in the presence of Tehri district magistrate Nitika Khandelwal and SIT head and Dehradun superintendent of police (Rural) Jaya Baluni. A large number of candidates attended the interaction and raised their concerns about the examination process. Some candidates also submitted their queries and suggestions in writing.
The officials informed that the SIT recorded these concerns and suggestions and will present them before the retired High Court judge appointed to monitor the investigation. They stated that factual action will be ensured on the issues raised. Besides this, they also said that SIT has gathered some crucial information regarding the case and will soon share its findings after gathering more prominent evidence.
