Following the heavy snowfall experienced at Auli this season, the different types of skiing course are being conducted consistently by the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) here. People and snow sports lovers from various parts of the country are arriving here with many of them undertaking the seven-day and two-week skiing courses being conducted by the GMVN. After the completion of the three-day national winter game earlier this month, the GMVN resumed conducting the skiing training course at Auli. At present, 13 youths are undertaking the seven-day course while three three are undertaking the two-week course. Due to adequate quantity of snow on the Auli slope, the online booking of those interested in undergoing the training is also underway.
