After the registration of Ma Naina Devi Nainital Vyapar Mandal and receipt of registration certificate under the Society Act, a meeting of the first core committee was held in Boat House Club on Tuesday presided over by the founder president of Vyapar Mandal Puneet Tandon. The traders associated with the organisation said that many important decisions were taken at the meeting.
As per the decision, the life insurance of the traders associated with the Vyapar Mandal will be ensured under the group life insurance of Rs eight lakh. For this group life insurance, no annual fee or premium would be taken from any member as of now and as far as possible, the Vyapar Mandal would try to maintain it from its own funds, said senior functionaries.
It was also decided that to ensure financial strength of the Vyapar Mandal, the membership fee would be taken regularly from the date of registration of the organisation in May 2024. It was further decided that along with the ordinary fee, financial contribution would also be made continuously by all the core committee members for strengthening the organisation though this proposal is put for 21 core committee members and is voluntary.
