In latest news from Uttrakhand, with the annual Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage slated to commence on May 25, the administrative work is now going on in full swing. The Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee is also busy in firming up plans to facilitate safe and comfortable pilgrimage. The Chamoli district administration officers said that the place is still covered with 10 feet snow blanket and the labourers, engaged by the administration, are now busy removing the snow. This snow-removal work is expected to be completed by April 20.
