Fresh snowfall was witnessed in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand including Badrinath, Kedar Madmaheshwar, Auli early morning on Monday. The tourists and local people were seen enjoying the snowfall across the hilly parts of the state. Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun was hit by a cold wave after the weather took a turn on Sunday and snow fell in Mussoorie. The meteorological centre in Dehradun had indicated snowfall and hailstorm on the high hills of the state. Similar weather is likely to prevail in Uttarakhand till December 30.
