The target becomes easier to achieve with a positive attitude and direction, said chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He was speaking at a day long workshop of the Bharatiya Janata Party IT and social media department here on Saturday. Meanwhile, the BJP IT national head Amit Malviya said that social media will have a vital role in the party’s victory in the 2022 Assembly elections in Uttarakhand.
Dhami said that social media can also play an important role in raising public awareness about the government’s public welfare works and schemes. He also stressed on the need for being more alert regarding the propaganda by the opposition. The CM further emphasised on the need for working in an organised manner like one unit. He said that the state government is committed to development works and will complete all its announcements.
Speaking on the occasion, Malviya said that the social media and IT cell play an important role in every election. Apart from the electoral battle on the ground, the party also fights another contest on social media.Giving the party workers tips about the party’s social media strategy, he said that the party has a different strategy for every state. The BJP has trained its social media workers in states like Uttar Pradesh and Goa. Regarding Uttarakhand, Malviya said that the party’s social media is doing good fact-based work due to which the Congress leaders have also stated that they are troubled. He said that the social media will play an important role in the resounding victory to be achieved by the BJP in the 2022 Assembly elections in Uttarakhand. Today, only the BJP has a system to ensure that its message reaches to the bottom. The party has established itself in all sections of society through social media and is also ensuring that the development works of the government reach the people, he added.
BJP state president Madan Kaushik said that the party workers will have to execute works at the ground level with commitment. He stressed on the importance of remaining alert and team work to achieve the target. The social media is more effective for tasks like raising public awareness on the government’s public welfare schemes, making people aware about issues and spreading constructive ideas, he added.
