Former chief ministers Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and Trivendra Singh Rawat met the newly elected speaker of Uttarakhand assembly Ritu Khanduri at her Vidhan Sabha office on Monday. Nishank congratulated Khanduri and discussed the preparations for the ensuing assembly session. Former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat congratulated Khanduri for becoming the first woman Speaker of Uttarakhand. Later in the day Khanduri met former chief minister Harish Rawat at her residence and sought blessings from him.
