The speaker of Uttarakhand assembly Ritu Khanduri gave a courtesy visit to the governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel at UP Raj Bhawan on Tuesday. The governor and speaker held a long interaction on the issues pertaining to Uttarakhand and the conduction of house. They also discussed the issue of women empowerment. The UP governor gave her wishes to Khanduri to efficiently discharge her duties as speaker of Vidhan Sabha of Uttarakhand. Khanduri invited Patel to visit Uttarakhand for the Char Dham Yatra. She also presented a sapling to the governor. The governor welcomed Khanduri by offering her a shawl.
