In latest news from Doon, the Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhusan held a meeting with senior officers, including those from administration, police department and Vidhan Sabha secretariat, in connection with the upcoming budget session slated to commence on February 26. She directed the VS secretariat and police department to ensure fool-proof security during the session. As part of the security measures, the VS employees would not be allowed to take their vehicles inside the premises sans official permission. Besides, while one visitor would be allowed into the VS on passes to be issued by MLAs, two visitors would be allowed on passes to be issued by ministers. With the board exams continuing, the Speaker stressed that there should be no problem for the examinees due to the VS session.
