Special camps will be organised in Udham Singh Nagar district from June 15 for activating inactive bank accounts, making nominees and for new enrolment in social security schemes.
Informing this on Thursday, the district lead bank officer, Chirag Patel said that a roster is being prepared for camps in the district’s 375 Gram Panchayats. He explained that eligible and interested individuals who have been left out will be enrolled in the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana at these camps. “Similarly, many accounts under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana are inactive and re-KYC and C-KYC are necessary.
Therefore, special camps will be held in the district between June 15 and July 15, where inactive bank accounts will be activated, nominees will be registered, re-KYC and CKYC procedures will be performed and enrolments will be made in social security schemes,” he added.
