SPICMACAY organises programme at All Saints’ College

To keep the young generation connected with Indian culture, a classical and folk music programme was organised at All Saints’ College in collaboration with SPICMACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Among Youth). Padma Shri awarded singer Bharti Bandhu was the principal attraction. He along with his team had received a string of accolades for his musical presentation in India and abroad. Indu Bhushan, CV Vachaspati Bharti and Bhushan Bharti presented songs together while Komeshwar Sahu played the tabla, V Pavas Bharti, dholak and Dharmendra Chakradhari, synthesiser.
The musical presentation involved the compositions of saints like Kabir, Rahim and Amir Khusro. Bharu Bandhu congratulated the principal of All Saints’ College Kiran Jarmaya for the institution being felicitated with the Number One Vintage Legacy Girls Day cum Boarding School Award in India by Education World.
Several dignitaries from educational field aside from the students of class VII to XII were present.
