In latest news from Dehradun, with crimes spiralling across the district, the senior superintendent of police (SSP) Ajai Singh cracked the whip by transferring seven sub- inspectors to Civic Police. Besides, Jogiwala check post in-charge has been reverted to Police Lines. The SSP is learnt to have ordered the transferred SIs to leave for their newly assigned posts immediately. Further, SSP Singh warned the in-charges of police stations and check posts that in case any kind of laxness is found in the discharge of their assigned duties prompt actions would be taken against them.
