Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) started a two-week orientation programme on Tuesday for the new students of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses at the Himalayan School of Management Studies (HSMS).
Addressing the students, director general of SRHU, VD Chauhan provided an introduction to the university, including its history, accomplishments, vision and mission. Vice chancellor Rajendra Dobhal emphasised on the university’s commitment to providing an inclusive and innovative learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and personal growth.
He reminded the students of their responsibilities as members of the university community and urged them to uphold the values and ethos of the institution, respect diversity and maintain the highest standards of academic integrity. Associate professor of HSMS Somaditya Juyal provided a detailed overview of the courses. He explained the educational objectives and expected outcomes, giving students a clear idea of what to expect during their academic journey.
