The vice chancellor of Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University (SDSUU), NK Joshi has issued new guidelines to address the increasing number of complaints regarding examination results. Joshi expressed concern about errors in the exam results and delays in the distribution of mark sheets to colleges. He said that several colleges have reported issues related to these problems.
To improve the process, Joshi has instructed the assistant exam controllers and the controller of examinations to thoroughly review the results before they are announced for upcoming examinations. Both assistant exam controllers will also be required to sign off on the results. The announcement of the results will only occur after receiving approval from the vice chancellor, he said.
Additionally, Joshi said that action has been taken in response to complaints regarding the late delivery of mark sheets from affiliated colleges. He has ordered assistant controller of examinations, BL Arya to ensure that mark sheets for declared examination results through Samarth are sent to institutions promptly. A written report confirming the dispatch of mark sheets will be submitted to the vice chancellor.
Joshi emphasised that the university is taking student complaints seriously and is committed to resolving these issues in a timely manner.
