SRK’s Pathaan to be released in Russia and CIS

In breaking news on the Indian film industry, Shah Rukh Khan‘s blockbuster spy movie “Pathaan” is going to be released in 3000 plus screens across Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Notably, the movie hit Indian theatres on January 25. Its director is Siddharth Anand and it stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. The fourth film in producer Aditya Chopra’s spy series, it has so far earned over Rs 1,000 crore at the global box office.
As per a press note released, it will be released on July 13 in this region across 3000+ screens.
CIS countries where the film is going to be released include Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
“Pathaan” marks a mega comeback for Shah Rukh after his absence from leading man roles for over four years.
The film is about a titular spy (Shah Rukh) coming out of exile to stop terrorist group Outfit X from launching a debilitating attack on India.
