SSP interacts with IMA cadets on internal security and cybercrime

Dehradun senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh interacted with cadets of the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Monday to explain the importance of coordination between the army and police during military operations and to provide information on cybercrime and police control room procedures. He interacted with 205 cadets undergoing training at IMA who also visited the police office to understand these aspects. During the visit, the cadets presented a courtesy meeting to Singh. He discussed the role of the army and police in internal security and emphasised the need for coordination between the two forces. He also provided detailed information about the latest methods used by cybercriminals and various types of scams targeting army personnel, along with ways to prevent them. The SSP informed the cadets about the importance of the police control room and its functioning, explaining how it can provide assistance during emergency situations. The session also included guidance on precautions to follow while handling social media accounts. Singh said that the interaction aimed to make cadets aware of security protocols and to strengthen understanding between the police and army in operational and emergency scenarios.
