The State’s Higher and Technical Education secretary Ranjit Kumar Sinha said that the State government would provide all possible help to the further improvement of the quality of Kumaun University while talking to media persons in Nainital. He further said that under the National Education Policy, many new courses have been launched for students so as to help them in self-employment avenues. “We all should work together to make Kumaun University an institute of global excellence,” he said, adding that it is important in the modern era to adopt continuous learning and innovation to keep pace with competition and rapidly changing technology.
